Welcome to BMSS
Bejorjgar Mahila Seva Samiti populary known BMSS is a Non-Governmental Organisation registerd with Ministry of Home Affairs Govt of India and state Govt of Madhya Pradesh. BMSS is also recognised by Mahila Ball Vikash Ewam Shiksha Vibhag.
Head office of BMSS is situated at a walkable distance from National Highway No. 6 and is connected with rail, road and air. The nearest railway station power house is hardly 1 km away. However, the main railway station is Durg, and is almost at a distance of 12 kms; whereas Nandini airport is about 15 kms from the office. There is no problem of conveyance since transportation is available at all time.
Aim: BMSS mainly aims to promote development and empowerment of women. The most crucial issue today is a particular section of women, i.e. the tribal women who lag behind others in development and continue to be among the weakest and exploited. Over the last decade BMSS, under the guidance of the president, Smt. Manorama Singh continue to serve mankind and the community at different levels in urban, slum, rural and tribal dominated areas throughout the state of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh with a view to overcome the drudgery and improve their economic conditions.
BMSS is committed to see that, the adequate food, clean drinking water, safe sanitation, primary health care, family planning and basic education is virtually within the reach of every man, woman and child. No stone is unturned to achieve this and such related projects are implemented and executed on war footing since quality of life could be adjudged with two parameters i.e. education and health.
